Tramar Lacel Daillard
Tramar Lacel, more popularly known under
his stage name Flo Rida (American rapper, singer and songwriter), is a Carol
City, Florida-based artist as a composer, songwriter, and musician. His
breakout single, "Low", reached number one in the United States for
10 weeks and set a new record for digital downloads. The debut album of Flo
Rida's studio 2008's Mail on Sunday reached no. 4 in the US. R.O.O.T.S.
succeeded the album in 2008. His next albums were 2010's Only One Flo Part 1
and 2012's Wild Ones charted on US Billboard 200 charts. Flo Rida's sales
worldwide of over 80 million albums have made him among the most popular music
artists. His catalog includes the international smash singles "Right
Round", "Club Can't Handle Me", "Good Feeling",
"Wild Ones", "Whistle", "I Cry", "G.D.F.R.
" and "My House". The debut album by Flo Rida, Mail on Sunday,
was released in March 2008. The single "Low" featuring T-Pain is the
first track from the album. It was also featured in the soundtrack of Step Up
2: The Streets. "Low" was released in the year 2000, and reached the
position of No. 1. on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart. "Elevator",
featuring Timbaland, "In the Ayer" featuring will.i.am, and
"Roll" with Sean Kingston followed, and both charted on the Hot 100
and other charts. Mail included a host of guests on Sunday, including T-Pain.
Timbaland appears on the track too. He was the producer of the single's second,
"Elevator". Rick Ross, Trey Songz and Trey also appeared. Lil Wayne
appeared on the track "American Superstar" as well as Sean Kingston
appeared on the J. R. Rotem-produced "Roll" that was written by
Compton rapper Spitfiya. Birdman, Brisco, as and Yung Jock are among the other
guests. "Money Right" featuring Rick Ross and Brisco was initially
planned to be the fourth track. But it was canceled by Flo Rida's upcoming
studio album, R.O.O.T.S. The second song he recorded with T-Pain "I
Bet" and the collaboration with Trina known as "Bout It" Both
tracks did not make the final track list, but were recorded.
