Big Time Rush
Big Time Rush The Big Time Rush, an
American pop-punk band formed in 2009, is a pop group from America. The group
is comprised of Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow and Logan Henderson. They signed
initially with Nick Records in 2009. Then, Columbia Records transferred them to
their new label. The group was a part of the Nickelodeon television show of the
identical title, Big Time Rush. From November 28th, 2009 to July 25 2013 the
show was on air. The pilot episode included "Big Time Rush", the group's
debut promotional single. Three studio albums were released by the group: BTR
in 2010 and Elevate (2011), and 24/Seven (2013). In 2014, the group took an
indefinite break that lasted until 2021. They then returned to live
performances and then released "Call it Like I See The Album".
Nickelodeon has signed Big Time Rush to a record deal in 2009 concurrently with
the tv show, Big Time Rush. Nickelodeon also joined forces with Columbia/Epic
Label Group for production and original music. Their debut single, "Big
Time Rush" was released on the show on November 29th, 2009. The
announcement was made by Nickelodeon the show first broadcast in the U.S. in
November 2009 before it was released globally. It premiered in a one hour
special preview of the show and it is currently the show's main theme. Promo
singles like "City is Ours", "Any Kind of Guy" and many
more were released in the course of the series. Big Time Rush also remixed the
Play song "Famous" that was written by the singer. It was released to
iTunes on the 29th of June, 2010. The song's second, "Halfway There",
was also released on iTunes following its premiere on the show. It was soon
their first charting song on the Billboard Hot 100. It was ranked at 93 thanks
to digital sales. The second single from Big Time Rush, "Till You Forget
About You" was released on September 21 in 2010. The song was released to
promote their debut album. The album, BTR came out on the 11th of October,
2010, a day after the album's release. The album debuted at the top of three on
the Billboard 200. It sold the album at 67,000 copies in its first week.
