Alison Doody

Alison Doody was born in Dublin in Ireland on November 11, 1996. She is a model and an Irish actress. Alison Doody made her feature film debut as a Bond actress in A View to a Kill, (1985). Then she appeared as a character in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in 1989. Doody played Nazi sympathetic archaeologist Elsa Schneider. Siobhan Donnevan in A Prayer for the Dying (1997), Charlotte Taffin (1988), and Rebecca Flannery Major League II (1994) are other roles. Doody was invited by a photographer, and started to take on the role of model. Doody then began to build a career of commercial modelling. Doody tried to stay clear of glamour and nude roles, this was the principle she followed in her acting. When she was dragged into the sights of the director who cast the upcoming James Bond film she accepted an unimportant role as Jenny Flex in 1985's A View to a Kill. Doody was as a character in John Willis Screen World Volume 2. She was one of twelve promising actors to be cast in 1986. 38. Doody was just turning 18 when she was given the role of Bond girl. She is still the youngest Bondgirl to date. Another film from her early days had her in a minor role as IRA member Siobhan Donovan on A Prayer for the Dying (1987) that featured Mickey Rourke. Doody was seen as Archibald Craven in his dreams in the 1987 version of The Secret Garden. She was Lilias. The episode of the Storyteller Sapsorrow was her first leading role. It took place in 1988 alongside John Hurt, Dawn France as well as Jennifer Saunders. She played opposite Pierce Brosnan in the film Taffin (1988) prior to taking perhaps her most well-known role ever in the role of Austrian Nazi-sympathiser and archaeologist the Dr. Elsa Schneider in 1989's Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade playing opposite Harrison Ford. Doody is a member of the James Bond family, having played alongside Sean Connery and Jonathan Pryce in 1989's Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Doody was co-starring with Jonathan Pryce, in the British mini-series Selling Hitler. The series was in part inspired by the Hitler Diaries publishing scam. She then moved to Hollywood. She was Flannery her agent, as well as her girlfriend for Major League II. She was selected as the replacement for Cybill Shepherd, who was L'Oreal's first spokeswoman. Doody's return to the screen was in 2003, when Michael Caine played Doody in the role of a brief. In 2004, Doody starred with Patrick Swayze alongside a TV version to King Solomon's Mines. Also Doody appeared in Benjamin's Struggle (2005), an essay on the Holocaust. Doody was cast in Danny Dyer's The Rapture (2009). She later guest starred in the medical drama of RTE The Clinic and was set to star in a 2011 remake of the horror film The Asphyx but the project was later put on hold. Pam Jefferson was her character in the E4 comedy Beaver Falls for two seasons. She also appeared on the show in 2014 as We Still Kill the Old Way. The Almeria Tierra de Film Award was awarded to her on the 21st of November in 2018. She also received one of the stars on the Almeria Walk Of Fame.
