Allyson Felix

Allyson Melissa Felix was born at Los Angeles, California on November 18th 1985. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix, is a minister at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a teacher of primary schools in Balboa Magnet. Felix demonstrated a talent in athletics from the beginning, and soon discovered her athletic abilities during her time at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Ten weeks after the first trial she took the sport, she finished second for 200m in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix finished her high school year in 2003 and became a part of Adidas an agreement as an athlete in professional competition. The following year she attended University of Southern California studying elementary education. Felix received her first Olympic award at 2004's Summer Olympics In Athens Greece. Felix ran 200m in 22.18s which set a new junior world record. She became the youngest world winner in the 200m at the 2005 Helsinki World Championships and defended her title in 2007, beating her long-time Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix participated in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo and consistently placed within the top three athletes in each of her events.
